Cheesy Prompt

The problem
Off-the-shelf teleprompter apps are fine when a show runs on rails. They are harder when a stage manager needs to find a passage quickly and retake control.
For MacBeth & Cheese, Cheesy Prompt was built on Mentra’s miniapp architecture. The work concentrated on recovery: oversized controls, a scrollable script with position context, deliberate jumps, and script import that does not depend on tiny phone typing. The existing playback engine stayed in place.
What was delivered
- Large recovery controls for live use.
- Whole-script navigation and jump-to-section.
- Local TXT and DOCX import.
- A public installer at onrushservices.com/cheesyprompt for remote iPhone testing.
